We are excited to hear of your interest in our dual-accredited Cognia and American Montessori Society public Montessori program! We are proud to be the only accredited Montessori program in Polk County and the first accredited public Montessori school in the nation for ages 3-15!
How to Apply
To begin the online application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
A non-refundable fee of $125 must be submitted with each application, unless your family qualifies for the Polk County Early Learning Coalition School Readiness program*.
After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application and if necessary, reprint the forms. Once you submit your application, you will be contacted via email to schedule a tour for your family.

*If your family qualifies for the School Readiness program through the Polk County Early Learning Coalition, your application fee will be waived. To apply for School Readiness, click here. Once you have proof that you qualify, email it to admissions@lakelandmontessori.com and we will make sure the fee is waived. Request More Information or Schedule a School Tour Before you Apply
If you would like more information about our program and/or schedule a school tour, please Request More Information. You will automatically receive an email with an online calendar to schedule a school tour. During the school tour we walk through every grade level to see the classrooms in action! At the end of the tour, there is also a question and answer session with one of our Administrators so you can learn more about our program. If you submit an application for PreK3 or PreK4, you will also automatically be scheduled for a tour. We look forward to meeting you!
